Durga in reference to the Veda, Upanishads, Geeta and Chandi.

References are present in two ways.

1. Directly with the word ” Durga”.

2. Indirectly with the Meaning and activities of Durga.

Asper Sri Sri Chandi, Durga means a combination power or energy of every Divine things and Gods and also beyond of that.

In fact this active principle of Paramatma is the main source of everything.

Paramatma is neither masculine or feminine. If consider masculine this becomes almost similar to Siva, Vishnu, Krishna. If consider in feminine, this will be Maha Kali, Durga(Maha Lakshmi), Maha Saraswati etc. Adi Mata.

Durga protects all the creation of Paramatma like the mother and like the Castle or Durgo. Thus She leads our life through the cycles of birth and death to the Self Realisation or Mukti or Mokhsa.

This whole matter is a big game of “Paramatma”. This is called “Leela”. Paramatma plays this Leela with the help of “Mahamaya”. Mahamaya creats Maya. “Maya” is illusion. We all are under control of this Game. Only those who can feel this magic and can cross the boundery of Maya of Sex, Greed, Selfishness and Ahamkar with the Karuna of MahaMaya, can become free from this cycles. Then this MahaMaya becomes “YogaMaya” to them. They are Yogi, Rishis, Aghory, Premi, Bhakta, Parama Vaishnav, Abadhuta, Hansa, ParamHansa, and Free Willed Soul.

If we consider Durga is the main Divine Energy then we will see Her in different names in the Veda. Like Aditi, Saraswati, Ratri, Pusha etc.

If we remember different names of Durga like Parwati, Uma, Haimawati, Gouri, Amba, Ambika, Ambalika, Dhisana, Bhaga, Bharati, Mrida, we will find all of them in the Veda and Upanishads.

Directly referring as “Durga” is present mostly in Chandi.

(In Durga Puja worshipping)(Reeg Vedic)

BasuShruta Rishi, Jatobeda Agni Debata, Tristupta Chanda:” Biswani No DURGAHA Jatobedah Sindhum Naba Duritani parshni”.

2.

Every day Surrendering of works by the Brhamins.

Kashyapa Apatya Marichi Rishi, Tristupta Chanda,” JatoBedase Sunabamo Somom Arati Yato Ni Dahati Bedo, Sa nah Parsadati DURGANI Bishwa Nabeba Sindhum DuritatyaAgni.”

The word Durga there implies the Fort or Castle.

in Yajurveda

In Upanishads: Keno Upanishad: Haimawati.

Narayan Upanishad( Under Taittiriya Samhita of Krishna Yajurveda): ” TamAgnibarnam….Durga Debim SaranamAham prapodye…..”.

Yajika Upanishad: ” KATYAYANAYA BIDMAHE KANYA KUMARIM DIMAHI TANNO DURGI/DURGA PRACHODOYAT.”

In the Geeta

7th Adhyaya,Jnana- Vijnana Yoga:

She has been described as “Yoni”, (Sloka 6), “Gunamayee” (Sloka 14) and “Yoga Maya”(Sloka 25)

Seeing the reference of Parwati in Yajurveda and Haimawati in the Upanishads if you think from this in the Purana Her home is given as Himalaya as the Purana is after the Veda then again I request to see the line in Devi Suktam of the Reek Veda.(10th Mondolom, 125 Sukta, Paramatma Devata, Bak Rishi). The BakAmbhrini is speaking that I am the power or energy to knotting the thread of the bow of Rudra( Siva )(to kill the Tripurasura)(Purana: TripuraAsura Badham).

Now it is your turn to judge which one is the first, the Veda or the Purana?

Now You can find a plenty of references on Durga from Sanatana DhramaGranthas.

Discovery from the Veda

The Sobon is a continuous process. This is Sanatan and Vedic. Recently discovered by Dr Rajatsubhra Mukhopadhyay(sridoctor). That is to be done by group or individual. This is like the prayers and homa.  Sobon is more important than homa for our life and Sucess.

💢SRI SHANKARA💢

Sri Shankara – the Young, intelligent and Strong unifying force of Bharat

Today we celebrate the birth anniversary of Adi #shankaracharya, born around 500 B.C and known as the resuscitator of Sanatana Dharma. He brought the lost light of Vedic Dharma back from the darkness of ignorance. He is known as the exponent of Advaita Vedanta, the spiritual tradition and philosophical school of Non-dualism. He became the master of all shastras and began writing his own bhasyams/commentaries on Upanishads, Bhagavat Gita, Bramha Sutras etc by the age of 16. He was a young, energetic, strong and encouraging reformer of Hinduism, who later travelled to all four corners of Bharat on foot in his Digvijayam to spiritually integrate our motherland. He established four spiritual monasteries or maths in all four corners of our country that would preserve dharma, guide and teach all followers of the Sanatana dharma. He was a great devotee of Mother Goddess Shakti, his compositions of Saundarya Lahari, Lalita Pancharatnam, Tripurasundari Ashtakam etc have been widely known in Shakta Schools of Goddess. He was a practitioner of Sri Vidya and by the guidance of the Goddess, he consecrated and established Sri Chakras in various Devi Temples.

Sri Shankara’s contribution to Sanatana Dharma can’t be expounded in mere few lines. This Young Acharya lived only a lifetime of 32 years of age in which he successfully attained self-realisation and revolutionised our country. He left his physical self to divine abode at Kedarnath. He should be the source of inspiration for all Sanatana dharmis, especially the youth so that we transform ourselves and bring back the depriving spiritual glory of Bharat. Shankara indeed remains the young and strong unifying force of Bharat.

Kashi Vishwanath ki kahani

All those devotees who’ve been to Kashi must have come across this horrid site and a mere look at the broken remains of original Vishveshvar Temple sends chills down our spines. It’s a miracle indeed that Mahadev’s grace kept the original Jyotirlinga intact all these years inside the Gyanvapi well upon which lies the barbaric mosque built by mughal tyrant aurangzeb. Jyotirlingas are powerful energy forms of Lord sent by Shiva himself on this mortal plane. They are repositories of dharma, spiritual sciences and the benevolence of Lord Shiva. These insolent Islamic tyrants did not know that their energy can’t be dissipated by mere breaking down the temple. Lord Vishvanath’s power deluded these Muslims and protected the shivalinga all these years, waiting for the right external conditions where his devotees would claim back his place. As the karma of dharmic purushartha has to be done by the bhaktas, as the temple exists only for the benefit of devotees.

Dharmo Rakshiti Rakshitah! Dharma protects those who stay firm on the path of Dharma. Dharma is not someone’s mere imagination or some religious ideology. It’s an existential realised truth which have come to us through the grace of divine incarnations, in the form of Vedas, Upanishads, Gita, Tantra etc and the tapasya of countless rishis, yogis, siddhas and gurus. And it’s a practical demonstration of dharmic power that even after countless attacks on Bharat’s dharmic civilisation and on powerful energy centers, the fire of dharma has been kept unharmed and it keeps appearing in people’s consciousness and motivates them to fight for truth and awareness.

Lord Vishvanath is always there to protect us, he has ascertained that his name and power can’t be erased by an attack on his temples. As his and Ma Annapurna’s offsprings all dharmic and awakened souls of sanatana dharma must continue their pursuit to reclaim back our dharmic centres.

Har Har Mahadev! Jai Kashi Vishvanath! Sri Matre Namaha. #kashivishwanathtemple #GyanvapiTruthNow #gyanvapimandir
